It is one year since the start of vaccination in the Republic of Albania.
The increase in the number of infected has slowed down the process. While a study shows that some people have experienced the “Nocebo Effect”. This means that in some patients, 2/3 of the side effects of the antiCovid vaccine are not caused by the vaccine itself, but by the psychological burden.
Bruna Shiroka, Family Doctor: The high number of infections has reduced the rate of vaccinations, as being infected by themselves or family members, doctors do not recommend vaccination. But it is an ongoing process and our daily challenge is a new vaccination. Those who support it the most are the two-dose people who want to do the third, having seen the positive effects of the vaccine, from mild symptoms to avoiding hospitalization.
We do not even talk about fatality. As for the “Nocebo effect”, it exists, although it is not widespread. There are patients who seek to negate vaccine values. They get alarmed and say I’m more Covid, I have a fever, great pain. It is enough to give yourself time and a conversation with the doctor, to understand that the vaccine is normal and life-saving.
