The works for the construction of the North Ring of Tirana have started and are expected to be completed within 11 months.
While closely following the continuation of works on this construction site, the Minister of Infrastructure Belinda Balluku said that despite the complexity of the work, the project is expected to be submitted on time within the deadline specified in the contract.
Minister Balluku added that the issue of expropriations will be problematic, as a part of the apartments through which the road passes are illegal.
The North Ring of Tirana is expected to create access to Arbri Street to enable the entrance to the capital and with its completion will facilitate the distribution of traffic, greatly aggravated as a result of works being carried out throughout the work of the Great Ring.
