Northern Macedonia in the last 24 hours has registered 2,071 more cases of COVID-19, as well as 1,450 patients who won the battle against the virus.
According to data from the Ministry of Health, the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country has reached 252,947, of which 225,056 cases have been cured.
The country also recorded 11 deaths from the coronavirus, bringing to 8,177 the total number of victims from COVID-19.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, the country’s health authorities have conducted 1,733,866 suspected tests for COVID-19, including 6,010 tests performed within the last day.
Currently in Northern Macedonia the number of active cases with COVID-19 is 19,714.
Meanwhile, the Infectious Diseases Commission in the extraordinary session decided to reduce from 10 to 7 days the isolation period for COVID-19 positive patients. The decision is taken by the Government on the proposal of the Ministry of Health, based on the recommendations of the commission.
