Democratic MP Kreshnik Çollaku says that Albania must be cleansed of the cancer of the State Security, stressing that it is unacceptable to sit in the same room with security associates.
Through a post on social networks, he says that his grandfather, Elami Hado, was persecuted in prisons and communist investigators.
According to Çollak, it is the duty of every deputy and citizen to work to clean the country from representatives of the former State Security.
“Elam Hado is my grandfather, persecuted by prisons and communist investigators.
It is unacceptable that today, as a member of parliament, I sit in the same hall with security associates of the system that persecuted and massacred not only half of my family, but half of the Albanians.
Albania must be cleansed from the cancer of the state insurance, this is the duty not only of the deputies of the Parliament of Albania but of each of us as citizens with human dignity and empathy. This is a trust…, and the trust cannot be dissolved even by the soil”, according to Çollak.
