The global crisis of rising prices of fuel and other products has affected Albania for days.
The war in Ukraine has clearly affected Albania as well. Record prices in recent days have caused concern among citizens. The fact is that the price of oil on the international stock exchange has risen in recent days. And this, as usually happens, is also reflected in Albania. However, the stabilization of international markets has begun to bring changes in the price of fuel in our country. From today onwards, the value of one liter of fuel in the market will be as follows:
diesel: 223 lekë
Gasoline 95: 223 lekë
Gasoline 100: 245 lekë
gas does not change.
The government for its part has announced the establishment of a special board that will conduct monitoring and take measures to prevent abuses with the price of fuel. The consequences of the war in Ukraine have significantly affected the prices of other products, mainly food, for which Albania is dependent on international exports. These consequences have begun to be clearly felt in Europe and the Balkan countries, while prices have risen sharply in some countries.
