The Kosovo Ministry of Health announced on December 26 that 12 new cases of coronavirus have been registered. The new cases resulted after testing 2,430 samples.
According to the announcement, in the last 24 hours a case of death from COVID-19 has been recorded.
In total the number of active cases is 349.
In terms of vaccination, in the previous 24 hours the authorities administered 768 doses of coronavirus vaccines.
Since March, when the immunization campaign started, until December 26, 780,228 citizens have been immunized in Kosovo with two doses of the vaccine.
In Kosovo, all citizens from the age of 12 have the right to be vaccinated and can get the AstraZeneca or Pfizer vaccine.
Meanwhile, from the beginning of December, people over 18 years of age can also receive booster doses and third ones of the vaccine.
