The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani met on Friday with members of the opposition to discuss the security situation in this country, following the latest developments related to the Russian occupation of Ukraine.
According to the announcement of the Presidency, Osmani met with the chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, the deputy chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Vlora Çitaku and the deputy chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Muharrem Nitaj.
Among other things, it was said that the parties also discussed the measures taken by Kosovo institutions to coordinate with international partners.
Earlier, the Government of Kosovo approved a package of sanctions against Russia, in accordance with the actions of the United States and the European Union.
