President Vjosa Osmani today welcomed the publication of the Transparency International Corruption Perception Index for 2021, according to which Kosovo has marked an increase of 17 positions.
Osmani wrote in a Facebook post that this represents the highest annual increase for Kosovo in the history of the publication of the Index.
“A year ago we promised that the fight against corruption would be one of the main priorities of the new institutions. Today, this promise is seeing the first extremely promising results. During the past year, the Republic of Kosovo marked an increase of 17 positions in the publication of the Transparency International Corruption Perception Index for 2021 – the highest annual increase for Kosovo in the history of the publication of the Index. “Step by step, towards eradicating corruption”, writes Osmani.
