The Ministry of Health announced on January 19 that 2,050 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Kosovo. The new cases emerge after testing 9,194 samples, which means that 22.29 percent of those tested have tested positive for COVID-19.
In the report, which refers to the data of the previous 24 hours, the Ministry of Health announced that another 462 patients have been cured.
Meanwhile, active cases of COVID-19 are 7,266.
As for vaccination, authorities have administered another 5,348 new doses of the coronavirus vaccine.
So far, 798,225 people or 44 percent have been immunized with two doses of the vaccine.
In Kosovo, people over the age of 12 can be vaccinated against coronavirus. Meanwhile, citizens over 18 years old, who were immunized with two doses three months ago, can receive the boosting dose or the third dose of the vaccine.
