A serious incident is reported to have occurred in Philadelphia. Thirteen people died when the fire engulfed a three-story apartment, which had been converted into apartments, according to a law enforcement official.
Investigators have not yet entered the house, though the fire is under control, the law enforcement official said. The official requested that the anonymity of the arrests be maintained due to the sensitive nature of the investigation.
Mayor Jim Kenney announced that there were children among the victims.
“Losing so many children is simply devastating. Keep these babies in your prayers, ”Said Kenney.
““This is undoubtedly one of the most tragic days in the history of our city, the loss of so many people in such a tragic way.” said the mayor.
