At 11.00, the meeting of the National Council of the Democratic Party begins, where as an item on the agenda is the election of the Presidency of the Democratic Party.
According to the agenda, the speech will be given by the Chairman of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha and the Chairman of the National Council Edi Paloka.
Voting will begin after the speeches. In advance each member of the National Council will sign manually and electronically for his presence at the meeting.
The novelty of this electoral process is the electronic counting of each ballot paper which occurs for the first time in Albanian political parties.
After appearing on the screen, each vote will be passed in real time to the summary board from where the winning names of the new members of the Democratic Party Presidency will be learned.
