Photographer from California, Conrad Tan has made a trip to Minnesota in 2020 to get some views of the wildlife living in its forests.
And his effort was rewarded after bringing some stunning images of the American black wolf to its natural habitat.
He says photos of the first wolf are rarely among the best of his work.
They distinguish the diversity of the characteristics of the enigmatic animal, which, although threatening, retains elegance and a desire to play and have fun.
The magnificent stuffing of these creatures falls in stark contrast to the white snow.
