The capital of Ukraine, Kiev, is engulfed in calm today as citizens seem to be returning to normalcy.

There are still areas with piled sandbags and places where they have narrowed the road because they were preparing for the Russian invasion that never happened in Kiev. It still looks like a city that is ready for war.
According to the BBC, the pools were full of people who were resting normally. Public transport is not working and checkpoints are still present.
Ukrainians still feel threatened by a possible Russian attack, despite the particles of calm. There are some small shops and cafes have started to reopen as citizens have resumed their living routine.
