Aerial footage shows Mediterranean waves hitting the fishing port of Gaza City in Palestine.
For some two million Palestinians, the port has been one of the main sources of food in the impoverished country, which has been under siege by Israel since 2007. Only last May, Israel allowed a limited number of fishing boats to return to the sea after heavy fighting.
Palestinians in Gaza are proud of their seafood and hope the ceasefire will last. After the night hunt, fishermen empty their crates of fish, crabs and shrimp into the port of al-Mina, where Hamas soldiers are present to maintain order.
The fish is then loaded into horse-drawn carriages to be sent to local markets. In the last war Israeli airstrikes destroyed dozens of buildings in Gaza and at least 250 Palestinians lost their lives.
Hamas militants fired hundreds of rockets at Israel, killing 12 people, according to reports. Tensions between the two sides continue in the worst Middle East conflict.
