The excellent performances that Armando Broja is making this season with the Southampton jersey have greatly surprised the former coach of Tottenham and Aston Villas Tim Sherwood, who as a guest in Sky Sport England has praised the Albanian striker who scored in the challenge of last against Southampton bringing to 5 the number of goals in this edition of the Premier League.
“Broja is a player for the team, he is not a footballer who thinks only about the personal aspect and who wants to be noticed individually as he plays very well for the team. He knows how to move on the field and when he needs to move, creates space for teammates.
If I were a midfielder and in fact I am a midfielder I would like to look at his number, and follow the ball to Broja as he knows very well that the defenders will not be able to catch him. Armando is very fast with the ball on foot and possesses extraordinary skills in front of goal. “I love him,” Sherwood said.
