Prime Minister Edi Rama continues to push the idea that the protest for the price increase in Albania is unreasonable, as it comes as a result of the war, not the government.
During the meeting with representatives from small business, Rama recalled the 90s, where the price of bread increased 10-fold and according to him, no one died.
Raman: Remember the 10-fold increase in bread in the 90s and no one died. We are not such a weak country at all. The Albanian people, the first to protest for the increase of prices when the whole world protests for the war and against the aggression. It was burned in France, but they did not come out today because they understood that it was to smoke in the Kremlin.
