A 37-year-old man has been handcuffed by Greek police after being accused of sexually abusing a minor.
The priest, a father of three, served in a church in Kato Patisia, where he is suspected of raping a minor from late 2019 until mid-2020, when the girl was 15 years old.
The 17-year-old girl got to the point where she almost fainted from fear when she saw the priest and was forced to tell her parents with tears in her eyes what she had experienced in recent years.
After receiving the confession, the parents went to report it to the police.
Yesterday afternoon, following an arrest warrant, the 37-year-old was arrested for rape, sex with minors, child abuse and child pornography on an ongoing basis.
