Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha is holding a meeting with the Democrats of Vau i Dejës this Sunday, while the Re-establishment Commission has started at 8:00 the voting for the primary in the six municipalities, Durrës, Vora, Rrogozhina, Shkodra, Dibra, Lushnja for candidates for the March 6 by-elections.
Berisha emphasizes that through voting in the six municipalities, the dignity of the Democrats is being restored.
“DP puts an end to this situation by setting primaries. It restores the free vote, it actually restores their dignity. The man who does not vote freely has his dignity kicked and you never deserve it. The DP would not be democratic if it did not consider the free vote of its citizens. “Not only the members of the Democratic Party will vote, but all its voters”, said Berisha.
The former prime minister also stated that Lulzim Basha is trying to field candidates against him in the local by-elections only for the sake of Edi Rama.
“With 61 municipalities he did not enter the elections, with 6 he enters. Then and today Edi Rama is in power. I stopped here simply to bring to the attention of all Democrats not to be fooled by the opposition. Do not be deceived by that man who has no principle. To vote in these 6 municipalities for the Democratic Party, the real Albanian opposition “, said Berisha.
