Even during the spring season our body continues the battle with cough, colds and respiratory problems. Cough should never be overlooked because it not only disrupts lifestyle, but causes physical and health damage.
Below you will find some simple cures on how to get rid of cough and other problems of lowering temperatures or allergies.
Honey. For centuries, honey has been used against coughs and sore throats. Dry cough is also fought with honey and grape juice, or with a glass of honey milk before bed. You can also mix lemon juice with honey in a glass of warm water and drink it up to three times a day.
Flax seeds. If your cough is worsened, toss three tablespoons of flax seeds in a cup of water and simmer together. When the water starts to thicken, drain and mix the juice with three tablespoons of lemon juice and honey respectively. Then every time you get hit by cough take from a spoonful of this magical mixture.
Ginger. For a dry cough, choose ginger, add a little salt and chew for a few minutes. Cough is also fought with ginger tea which is prepared by boiling it in water until most of it evaporates. Drain the liquid, add a spoonful of honey and drink warm.
Thyme tea. Prepare thyme tea by adding two tablespoons of crushed thyme leaves to a teapot filled with water and simmering for 10 minutes. Once drained, add honey and lemon. All three together have great healing powers.
Tea with honey and black pepper. If you suffer from roasted cough or that with secretions, try tea with honey and black pepper. The latter stimulates the circulation and release of secretions, and honey stops coughing. Use one teaspoon of black pepper and two tablespoons of honey. Mix in a glass of hot water. Let stand together for 15 minutes, drain the liquid and drink.
Drink lemon juice. Take a slice of lemon. Sprinkle with black pepper and salt and drink the magic liquid that offers an immediate cure.
Bajamet. Take an orange juice, add a few tablespoons of crushed almonds or powder and drink against cough.
Onions. With onions you can make a fantastic syrup. Mix the lemon juice, honey, minced onion and boil in a pot of hot water, for 2 hours. Drain the liquid and drink a tablespoon of it every hour.
Carnations. Mix the clove spice with the honey and store overnight in the refrigerator. In the morning remove the dried cloves and consume a tablespoon of the remaining honey. Sore throat will heal and inflammation will decrease.
Carrot juice. Prepare fresh carrot juice by squeezing four carrots and mixing the juice with water. You should drink this juice four times a day.
