Several shootings with firearms and firing of powerful tools have accompanied the start of today’s protest in North Macedonia.
The protesters who have been protesting for several days in front of the Government, as they started to move towards the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, until they arrived at the statue of Skenderbeu, where they clashed with several other people.
The motives of the fight are not known, but now the situation seems to have calmed down.
This is the fifth day that a protest is being held in Skopje with the motto “Ultimatum? No, thank you”, against the French proposal through which it is intended to overcome the differences between Skopje and official Sofia about the past and the issue of Macedonian identity.
