Two of them are accused of abusing their duty and the other two of them exercising corruption by buying the personal data of 650 thousand Albanian citizens, among them the salary lists that at the end of December went viral.

Akshi IT specialist, Eni Qirjako in six episodes has passed through the official e-mail the salaries of Albanians to Agara, the latter sold for 20 thousand ALL to Sota and Ikonomi, while the chain does not end here.

Regarding the second scandal of publishing license plates, Ms. Imeraj mentioned that another server was seized.

After being hired in July 2020, two months later Qirjako confesses that until April he passed the salaries to his colleague Agaraj. When the scandal became public, she realized that the date and time and the date of creation of the File in Excel coincided with the same time that she had forwarded this data over the air.

For these facts, she immediately informed her superior Ervin Muça, Director of IT at the General Directorate of Taxes, who is being prosecuted at large.

According to the investigation, one of the accused, Andy Ikonomi is the former director of a company owned by Russian billionaire Oleg Boiko.

The Russian name is mentioned in the voluminous report of the American investigation for the Russian interference in the American elections. According to the report, the Russian name is related to the accusations made against him for interfering in the Moldovan elections.

Endri Ikonomi until the fall of last year was the administrator of the company Credit 2 ALL. According to the registration, this company was created in 2017 by a Cypriot company which a year later sold the company on behalf of the citizen, Oleg Boiko, a Russian with an Italian passport who lives in Switzerland.

The Albanian company was bought for 100 euros. But who is Oleg Boiko, he is the owner of a financial group, which deals mainly with information systems, provides consulting.

Oleg Boiko is a billionaire and owns a fortune of $ 1.3 billion. In addition to his numerous businesses, he is mentioned in this report of the US Congress on Russian interference in the US elections. Here is what the US report says: Boiko has links to the Russian government, the Russian intelligence service and security services including organized crime. Moldovan media have reported that Boiko was also involved in Kremlin interference in foreign elections using his influence in these operations.

Top Channel officially asked the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office that it is investigating and that it made four more arrests, but due to the investigation no comments were made.

However, the question of why a Russian billionaire buys in Albania a company that invests to buy secret information for all Albanian citizens, such as the salary list of 690 thousand Albanians, requires an answer.
