Russian President Vladimir Putin told his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron during a 90-minute phone call that he would continue military operations in Ukraine.
“This conversation, unfortunately, has shown that President Putin will continue military intervention until the end“President Macron’s resignation told reporters at a news conference on Thursday.
Putin and Macron had “a sincere exchange of views on the situation around Ukraine,” the Kremlin press service said, according to Russia’s state-run TASS news agency.
Putin warned the West that if Russian-Ukrainian negotiations drag on, then Moscow will have new demands on Kiev and that the tasks of the special military operation for its war in Ukraine will be carried out.
Putin also denied the bombing of Kiev and warned that the situation would worsen, but according to him, it is Ukraine’s fault.
