A day after returning from Brussels, Prime Minister Edi Rama gathered political leaders in the districts at the SP headquarters.
This is a routine meeting that takes place every beginning of the week, but because Rama was in Brussels yesterday, the meeting has been moved to today.
The whole focus of the discussions is the continuation of the electoral campaign, while the political parties have started the engines for the April 25 elections.
Rama was in Brussels on Monday, March 1, as part of the 11th Stabilization and Association Council.
At a press conference, together with Josep Borell, Vice President of the European Commission and Commissioner for Enlargement, Oliver Varhelyi, he expressed our country’s dissatisfaction for leaving the region for the distribution of the vaccine, but on the other hand he said he was happy that Covax has started giving countries the first doses of the vaccine.
The Prime Minister also spoke about the country’s integration into the EU, saying that according to him, Albania has fulfilled the tasks for the first intergovernmental conference.
