Prime Minister Edi Rama, who is in the US, while tomorrow (June 1) Albania takes over the Presidency of the UN Security Council, has met with UN Secretary General António Guterres.
Together with the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Olta Xhaçka, the Prime Minister’s press office informs that the program and priorities of the Albanian presidency of the Security Council were discussed with Guterres at the UN leadership table and the readiness to offer its contribution in the service of peace and security, human rights and sustainable international development.
