A large quantity of drugs stamped with a portrait of Russian President Vladimir Putin was discovered by police in the northeastern Libyan city of Al Marj.
In total there were 323 packages, which weighed 250 grams each. The photos of the drugs and the Russian president on them caused a lot of laughter on social networks, even mocking Putin’s appearance.
He appears attached to each of the hashish packs, but what attracts the most attention is his gloomy appearance, wearing a black suit and tie.
Local authorities say the cargo was thrown ashore after a boat containing smuggled drugs sank. Photos of celebrities and logos of big companies often decorate packages with smuggled drugs.
Just days before the discovery, residents found large quantities of hashish on the beaches of the Libyan cities of Talmitha and Boutraba. Instead of Putin, these packages were stamped with photos of the infamous Colombian boss, Pablo Escobar.
