“Today, the application process has started in the kindergartens of Tirana, for the 2022-2023 season. Tirana has 46 gardens in the urban area and 50 gardens in the rural area. At its maximum, the capacity of Tirana kindergartens reaches up to 8000 children per day.
When parents go to apply in the kindergarten of their administrative unit, they must have with them the vaccination certificate of the child, which they receive from the consultant, the work certificate and the family and personal certificate.
Given the high number of applications to receive services in kindergartens, it is thought by the directorate and the municipality that the application process in kindergartens will take 2 weeks, from some Monday 13 June to 24 June.
This year there are 2,000 vacancies in kindergartens, which correspond to the number of children leaving the first grade. These will be the young children who will be enrolling. Also the good news is that 6 new facilities are being added which are nurseries and gardens. These new nurseries and kindergartens will provide opportunities for another 700-800 young children who will be entering the service.
