Popular singer Ricky Martin has won the case against his nephew Denis Jadiel Sanchez, who accused him of incest and abuse.
Sanchez eventually denied the allegation against Martin, although he previously admitted they had been in a sexual relationship for several months.
A judge in Puerto Rico also lifted a temporary restraining order placed on Ricky Martin a week ago, according to TMZ. The singer’s own legal team stated that:
“As we predicted, the temporary restraining order was not extended by the court. The prosecutor confirmed in court that the decision to withdraw the charges was his alone, without influence or pressure from outside”.
Then the singer posted a message on Instagram that “the truth wins” in the end.
Denis Jadiel Sanchez is the son of Ricky’s half-sister Vanessa Martin. His brother, Eric Martin, has since identified the alleged victim as the singer’s nephew, Dennis Yadiel Sanchez, Spanish newspaper Marca reported.
Martin was accused of “physically and psychologically assaulting” Sanchez during their seven-month relationship, which ended about two months ago. A representative for the singer previously called the abuse allegations completely false and fabricated in a statement to People earlier this month.
We recall that, against the well-known singer, Ricky Martin, a lawsuit with a value of 4.3 million dollars has been filed by his former manager, Rebecca Drucker. She worked with Martin from 2014 to 2018 and then again from 2020 to 2022.
Drucker is suing the Latin music artist for unpaid commissions, according to legal documents filed Wednesday in Los Angeles Central District Court that cite allegations that could end Martin’s career, according to the New York Post./ Top Albania Radio
