Snowfall continues to trap northern Albania, creating problems with road traffic and electricity supply.
According to the report of the emergency headquarters near the prefecture, Thethi and Vermoshi remain blocked, where the snowfall has gone up to 80 cm. From Qafa e Thorës to the interior of the village of Theth it is difficult to cross only with high vehicles and using a chain, while in the axis Tamar – Vermosh the crossing is done only for emergencies as in the neck of Bërdalec the thickness of snow goes to 70 cm.
The villages of Vermosh and Lepush are without electricity. Even on the axis towards the tourist Razma and Boga, there was snowfall and 3 ditches were worked to avoid its blockage.
In the municipality of Puke there is about 15 cm of snow and work is underway to open roads, while in some villages there has been a lack of electricity. Also, the Dukagjini area due to rain and storms has some villages without energy, as well as blocked internal roads.
While in the city of Shkodra there is a significant decrease in temperatures accompanied by rain. Water levels in the Buna and Drin rivers are at low levels and so far there is no risk of flooding.
The situation is calm even in the Drini cascade where in Fierza the inflows are 450m3 / sec and it is located at the quota of 273.11 meters, Komani has a flow of 280 m3 / sec and is located at the quota of 174.03 meters, while Vau i Dejës has 60 m3 / sec and is located at the quota of 75.19 meters.
