The famous British singer put up for sale his seven-bedroom rural villa in September last year, but has yet to sell it despite huge initial interest.
Robbie, 47, is failing to find buyers for his villa in the southern British region of Wiltshire, and reports say representatives are encouraging him to lower the price.
Property agents have asked for the sale price to reach 8 6.8 million but the singer refuses to surrender.
A source close to the issue told The Sun: “The place is amazing, but no offers are coming. “The price can be high for the current shopping climate.”
“It seems that he does not want to lower the price from the valuation amount. “It is causing us some headaches.”
“In online networks, the house is very clicked and everyone wants to see it, but the reality is that it has been there for six months now.”
Robbie and his wife Ayda Field had purchased the property for their growing family in 2009.
The luxury seven-bedroom villa stands on a 30-hectare plot and has its own football field, tennis court and a helicopter hangar.
Another villa for guests is located on the premises as well as the apartments of the service staff.
But even though he raised his four children there – Theodora, nine, Charlton, seven, Colette, three, and Beau, two – Robbie put the house up for sale in 2021.
He said at the time: “Compton Bassett was the perfect place for our family to escape. “It was here that Ayda and I fell in love and became a real couple.”
“Since then we have welcomed our children and shared a lot of laughter and love here.”
Robbie says he wants to sell the house he bought 12 years ago for 1 8.1 million.
Sources say that Robbie is planning a rotation of his properties and has decided to buy in Switzerland, where he currently lives.
