Erling Haaland’s name has long been associated with Bayern Munich, but competition for the potent Dortmund striker is fierce. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge highly appreciates the Norwegian goal scorer, but there is a dilemma.
The former well-known director of German football record holders is not convinced if the 21-year-old’s style of play is fixed for Nagelsmann’s team, as he highly values Robert Lewandowski.
“I’m not 100% convinced that Haaland’s style would fit in with Bayern Munich and Lewandowski. Erling is a great talent and footballer, but Lewa could be valuable and useful for a few more seasons as well.
He is a player who fits 100% tactically with the Bavarian team. “I think Lewa will be at high levels for another 2-3 years and will continue to score a lot of goals,” said Rummenigge.
