Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said a Russian airstrike had destroyed a high-rise building in the northern city of Chernihiv.
According to him, at least one person was killed and another was injured in the attack, while seven others were rescued.
Unverified videos on social media showed black smoke coming out of the nine-story building as firefighters struggled to contain the blaze.
