Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has reacted to Russia’s response to the attack on the shopping center in Kremenchuk, which killed at least 18 people.
“Ordinary Russians cheer on social media. Russian diplomats and officials spread insane conspiracy theories, denying the attack took place. Russia is a country of murderers and patrons. It is important to note that the Russians are hungry for information on the war – or “special military operation” as reported there. “Russia has consistently claimed that it did not target civilians during its occupation – a claim that has been fiercely argued by the West, which has accused the country of committing war crimes.”– said Kuleba.
Russia’s deputy ambassador to the United Nations, Dmitry Polyanskiy, claimed the attack was a “Ukrainian provocation”.
He said on Twitter: “Exactly what the Kiev regime should keep the focus of attention in Ukraine before the NATO Summit.”
