Russian forces have hit a checkpoint where humanitarian aid is being distributed in the Donetsk region today where at least two people were killed and five others were injured.
The incident took place in the town of Vuhledar and the event was announced by Governor Pavlo Kyrylenko sharing photos allegedly from the scene, showing two women lying on the ground and another with a severe leg wound.
Russia has denied targeting civilians during its occupation.
The eastern Donetsk region has seen fierce fighting between Ukrainian and pro-Russian separatist forces since 2014.
