Russian oligarch Oleg Tinkov has posted on social media images of the massacres taking place in Ukraine, calling for an end to the insane war.
He said in his post that no person is a beneficiary of this conflict therefore its termination is necessary.
Tinkov is one of Russia ‘s highest – profile entrepreneurs and founded the global online finance firm Tinkoff Bank and owned the Tinkoff-Saxo cycling team, but still consistently condemns the actions of President Vladimir Putin.
Two of the country’s other prominent oligarchs, Mikhail Fridman and Oleg Deripaska, have made numerous calls for peace but have not directly criticized it.
Fridman, a billionaire banker, has said that any personal remarks can be a risk not only to himself but also to staff and colleagues.
Tinkov said that “90%” of the people of his country were against the war and added that “nonsense in every country is 10%”.
