Sazani Island was engulfed in flames this Sunday. The eastern part of the island and the place called “General’s Beach” caught fire, burning pines and bushes.
The Coast Guard and the Protected Areas Administration are working to extinguish the blaze.
This is the second time that the island of Sazan where the pines and vegetation of the area are carelessly burned.
