The minister did not want to give further details, but accused the Greek border guards of “cruel” behavior and the European Union for an incomprehensible tolerance towards Greece.
Turkey has long accused neighboring Greece of illegally pushing migrants seeking to enter Europe. But the latter has always denied the allegations.
Turkey is a major crossing point for migrants from the Middle East, Asia and Africa seeking a better life in European Union countries.
