Sierra Jenkins, a 25-year-old journalist, was among those shot and killed Saturday morning in Norfol, Virginia.
Jenkins was leaving a restaurant in downtown Norfolk, Chicho’s Pizza Backstage, when he came across an out-of-debate debate and the situation escalated into the use of firearms.
Police immediately arrived at the scene and found Jenkins with 2 other people with serious injuries. One of them, 25-year-old Devon Harris died at the scene while the other was transported to hospital.
Jenkins was also transported to the hospital, where he later died.
Two other people found by police at the scene with life-threatening wounds were also taken to hospital for treatment, according to police.
