As the war in Ukraine continues, the consequences are being felt all over the world. Wars usually have certain objectives, but the essence is wealth, economy and many wars are made over oil. Many wars have been fought over oil which is otherwise regarded as black gold.
In this time of war, the price of oil is constantly rising and falling in our country. Petroleum engineer, Sazan Guri spoke to “Top Talk” making a strong denunciation that oil is being stolen in our country.
Sazan Guri: We produced oil, once we reached 1.2 million tons of oil per year, reached a maximum of 2.5 million oil and built refineries with small deficiencies. It was not until 2007 and 2008 that it produced Albanian oil with sulfur content not as required by the European standard. In these conditions, it seems that the war is to blame, while the energy crisis has been declared since September and October.
In all Albanian governments, contrary to the interests of the nation, you can think of having a refinery and destroying it.
Question: Do we have oil reserves?
Sazan Guri: Our oil comes from the source of the Patos Marinza which is the second oil after Canada in this facility called sandstone. Meanwhile in the Balkans it ranks first. The Marinza provides 400 years of oil reserves. In 400 years of oil, this cart instead of getting the energy that oil comes out with its own layer energy. When you come up with third and fourth methods, if you take 2 tons a day, you get 14 tons a day. This is called exploitation. We are capable of instructing the current prime minister. It used to be the oil institute that when a foreign company did a study, we did it in parallel.
