Singer Kanye West will not be performing at ‘Coachella’ this year.
He was one of the top artists at the festival held in California next weekend, along with Billie Eilish and Harry Styles.
Rapper Travis Scott would join Kanye on stage, so now even the star of the hit “Highest in the room” will not be present.
It is not currently known why Kanye is retiring, but the decision comes after several difficult months, where the artist has been attacked through numerous posts on social media by his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
His racist attack on presenter Travor Noah suspended him from Instagram for 24 hours last month, however the rapper has not posted anything since.
Kanye, meanwhile, has not been seen in public since March 27 when he closely watched the Saint’s football match with Kim and North.
