The mayor of the capital, Përparim Rama, has blamed the Kosovo government for moving the Sunny Hill festival from Pristina to Tirana.
“Such a decision, caused entirely by the Government’s procrastination, will cause damage to the capital in culture, tourism, economic development and its overall image. The failure of this festival this year is a loss not only for Pristina, but for all of Kosovo“, Writes Rama.
He demands that the Government reflect to make it possible for Sunny Hill to return to Pristina in the future.
The Sunny Hill Festival this year will not be held in Pristina but will be moved to Tirana. The news was confirmed by its founder, Dukagjin Lipa, Dua Lipa’s father. According to him, the state failed to provide an answer to the place where it was planned to be held.
