During the last 3 days, 250 greenhouses, 56 abandoned houses, tunnels, forested territory, public and state areas were inspected.
Detailed controls were exercised in various environments, for which there was information that they could be used for the cultivation of narcotic plants through lamps.
During the controls in the village of Fushë Thumanë, Administrative Unit Thumanë, in the public territory were found in a greenhouse, 400 cubes cultivated with cannabis sativa seedlings, which were destroyed during the operation, while a part was seized as material evidence. Meanwhile, work is underway to identify and apprehend the perpetrator / s of this case.
The massive control of the territory in the district of Kruja is ongoing, with numerous groups of FNSH and the Police of Kruja, and will be extended to all areas at risk and not only.
The State Police is determined to prevent and fight with zero tolerance this phenomenon and appeals to the residents not to take initiatives to carry out criminal activities in the field of cultivation and trafficking of narcotics, as they will face the law.
