Some time ago, the editor of the investigative show, Top Story and some other elements, their employment was terminated, because they were found in violation of the employment contract and in violation of the television image.
The Top Channel legal team is preparing the relevant file, to forward it to the authorities, to issue the legal responsibilities and the damage caused to the company by these individuals, who have used the profession and the show, as a means of fines and threats, abusing also foreign donations.
Today, these individuals or more precisely one of them, Endrit Habilaj, who has access to the show’s Facebook page, has released another slander in the direction of Top Channel.
That last night a show of theirs was removed. In fact, a material has been removed which, like the last two or three weeks, was left to be broadcast in good faith and out of Top Channel editorial control.
But when the board reviewed the materials and noticed the serious ethical and professional violations, it made the decision not to broadcast this fine, put on behalf of two people who once worked at Top Channel, and not in the interest of the truth. The show is not closed. Top Story as a name was not born in 2018, when it was taken over and transformed as it is today. Top Story was born in October 2006 and for 11 seasons was the most successful political show on screen.
Next week Top Story will return to where it belongs, in “prime time” at 21:00.
The investigative show that bore that name for three years will not close. He will continue that next week. With a new name, with a new direction. And moreover with new mission. The mission of truth, not of fines.
