Rangnick’s first loss on the Manchester United bench was bitter and complicated the road to qualifying for the Champions League for the Red Devils. At the end of the match there was tension in the locker room, appearing on the field. A serious problem for the German coach.
Goalkeeper De Gea during the match animatedly scolded Cristiano Ronaldo for a back pass, which risked turning into an own goal. The former Atletico goalkeeper, as reported by “Sport”, has attacked the Portuguese with curses, freezing the fans present at “Old Trafford”.
A situation that Rangnick must resolve as soon as possible, so that the situation does not get out of control. Luke Shaw was direct at the end of the match, demanding the maximum commitment of all: “When we did not have the ball, we were not aggressive enough. We, the players, have been here for a long time, maybe we fought tonight, I do not think we were all together.
The players we have have incredible quality, but sometimes quality is not enough. In the locker rooms we know what we want, but off the field we have to give 100%. To win these kinds of matches we all have to work 100%. “It’s difficult and frustrating.”
