Today’s plenary session in the Assembly was accompanied by tensions.
Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha addressed Prime Minister Edi Rama with insulting words in the Parliament, as he said:Oh man, oh cheeky… I’ll tell you. July 7 made you crazy“.
Berisha got up and went in front of the head of the government, while the guard intervened to quell the clash.
After the situation calmed down, Berisha began his speech in the pulpit, where he said he would tell the truth about Thaçi’s arrest:
Sali Berisha: Behind the arrest of Hashim Thaçi stands a trinomial, Kremlin Belgrade Tirana. He introduced Thaçi, who suggested that he shake hands with Putin. He and his colossi are sources of endless slander. Edi Rama, therefore, introduced the political leadership of Kosovo into a spiral which influenced the process of their arrest.
