Engineers are working hard to stabilize the Millennium Tower, a luxury San Francisco skyscraper that is sinking to the ground.
They say concerned that the giant building is tilting by almost 8 cm per year. Engineer Ronald O. Hamburger made his assessment of the situation during a hearing in the city council, where he presented the proposal for urgent intervention in the foundations of the structure.
