Fiks Fare goes back to a big problem that emigrants around the world face with the diplomatic missions of our country in the country where they stay.
Such was the denunciation coming from a citizen for the service provided by the Albanian Consulate in Munich, Germany. She claims for Fiks that the employees of this consulate have inappropriate, threatening behavior and do not give answers.
She adds that even the displayed phone numbers are never opened. The last time the complainant contacted her country’s consulate in Munich was last year. This year she reveals that she has called this Consulate dozens of times, but no one has opened the phone. “There are 3 numbers and none of them work” adds the complainant. He then communicated by e-mail, asking to be asked about a service over the phone, but no one answered the numbers of this representation.
But the complainant’s e-mail did not go unanswered. An e-mail from the Albanian Consulate in Munich came to her inbox saying “we are not a call center!”. The complainant then returned the e-mail that this behavior had never happened to her, but in response she received a threat “with this behavior the service at the Consulate will be terminated”. He tried to communicate again by phone, but no one answered. He sent them an e-mail and received an answer “fix the behavior” !!!
After the denunciation and the behavior of the staff, Fiks Fare tries to contact the employees of the consulate. Initially call the phone numbers posted on the Consulate website.
None of the numbers are available. The first two numbers directly disconnect the connection. Meanwhile, even the emergency number does not come out, as it says that the number is off and a voice message should be left !!! So, Albanians who have an emergency should leave a voice message…
Afterwards, Fiks Fare sends a request for information to this consulate, exactly in the e-mail that the citizen also communicated. After a few hours, the Consul General in Munich, Arten Hanku, responds by e-mail that he has warned the employees. However, it is justified that “they have a lot of work and give answers to many citizens”.
In his response, Consul Hanku explains that the lady in question insists, claiming in a very irritating and provocative way that he definitely wants to communicate on the phone, while this does not depend on them but on the moment when the lady gets on the phone. “We have a person in charge of the Consulate who answers the phone all the time, but we only have two phone numbers from where they call all day from all over Germany and Switzerland for the problem of passports and other consular problems, so both numbers. Our phones are constantly occupied by citizens. “We are a Consulate with a limited number of employees that face a significant influx of applications,” wrote the consul.
Regarding the complainant, he claims that her e-mails were communicated in a very provocative and insulting language towards the consulate employee, and at one point he wrote to her that if the citizen would speak in this language, the communication would be interrupted. service from the consulate. This is exactly why he was attracted and the consul adds a remark. Finally, he seeks the understanding of the citizens for the impossibility in some cases of telephone communication due to the large flow of telephone calls and the limited number of employees in the consulate.
E-mail communications between the citizen and the staff of the Albanian Consulate in Munich, Germany
Citizen: Open the phone, please, I’ve been picking you up for 1 month and who is not answering.
Employee: I am asking Deutsche Telekom why this is happening B., that we do not deal with the technical side of telephone lines !!! Close the power of attorney appointment yourself, first by applying online to the portal www.e-albania.al for special power of attorney, and then send by email the answer from the consul for the date of the meeting at the Consulate !!!
Citizen: Ok, but why do you always talk so rudely. You can talk to people better, not ironically. We too are tired and stressed not only you.
Employee: O B .. first correct your language completely without politeness when speaking and writing to us! Read below what you wrote and understand why you got that kind of explanatory answer !!!
Now if you’re going to get the job done, follow the instructions we gave you in the previous email and do the online application to get an appointment date, and close this offline call job discussion that is not just open to you!
Citizen: I have talked to you other times. I told you a problem in a completely normal way and you answered only with irony that I owe you something. They even call me B… like a friend dog, not an official embassy. It is a shame to respond in this way without being polite. Speak nicely to people.
Employee: Then, from this moment if you continue this communication even once with this irritating and offensive language, any kind of service from our Consulate will be banned !!!
Citizen: I will denounce that I have evidence that you used harsh language with me and put pressure on me. That you are paid with our lek gives us information not pressure that no one eats these.
Employee: Continue with this behavior and communication that you will have a bright future in the EU !!! And with this way of communication that you have a long stay in Germany !!!
Citizen: I will have a bright future as I have now for 23 years as I am here. For you I am afraid it will not be that you are in the wrong place.
