An Albanian in Italy locked himself in his house, set the apartment on fire and when the police arrived, he kicked and punched them.
The 33-year-old was arrested on charges of arson, violence and resisting a public official.
The day before, residents of a building in Macherio had notified the Operations Center of the Monza Company that they felt a strong smell of smoke coming from an apartment.
Police patrols went to the scene and found the door closed. The Albanian shouted that he had set fire to the apartment with gasoline and wanted to kill everyone.

The flames completely destroyed the apartment of the Albanian. Two carabinieri were transported to the San Gerardo hospital in Monza due to smoke inhalation.
