As often times, Albanians do not hesitate to help each other in difficult cases. Albanian Neli Supur from Ukraine, along with her young son woke up to the sound of rockets three days ago and chose to leave the country while her husband went to war.
Sheip Pacolli is a Kosovo Albanian who lives in Germany with his family, after hearing Neli’s call from the Top Channel screen, went to the border of Ukraine with Poland to take Neli and little Ervin.
Through a Facebook post, Pacolli suggests that he has met with Neli and Ervin.
“We finally met Nell and Family. Nelli is a little tired but now she is fine and little boy Ervin is very well and in safe hands.
Do not contact Nell because the phone does not work, nor the internet.
“Now we left Medyka Poland and we are continuing to Germany.” he wrote.
Neli has only one prayer, to end this war and her son to have the opportunity to embrace his father.
