The spokesman for the Lake County Major Crime Task Force, Christopher Covelli, has provided new details on the event that happened yesterday in the USA, during the Independence Day parade.
It is understood that Robert E Crimo, 21, had been planning this attack for several weeks, as a significant amount of information has been obtained from cell phone records and other footage.
Crimo was dressed in women’s clothes to hide his identity.
Covelli says Crimo used his mother’s car to escape the scene and joined the community because he hid his identity by wearing women’s clothes.
Covelli adds that a second rifle was placed inside Crimo’s mother’s car.
He adds that Crimo remains in custody and there are no indications that he acted with anyone else.
