Invited to the show “Albania Live”, she has confessed all the ordeal of difficulties and the strength she gathered to cope, even though her life changed completely.

She confesses that it was the boy who made her gather strength and fight to get back to the life she was before she found out about the disease.

“I was very lucky, I had an operation within a week, I had three operations in a row, it was thought that the first operation was successful, but no, then it became the second and the third went successfully. Doctors said the whole stomach should be removed. I became very weak both psychologically and physically. “I was tied with pipes, the moment the boy came to hug me and when I saw that I could not hug him, he gave me the greatest strength to get up and manage.”, said Irena.

“The first six months were torture, I am still not as I was, I was very demoralized. Then I found Albanians like me, in the association I belong to, that only they can understand me. I do not admit that I am not normal, that feeling of hunger is very difficult, there are times when I feel nervous, there are times when I am helpless that I have to rest, I feel much better when I think I am normal“, Said the 35-year-old.
